Main Service: £70 plus parts

I recommend carrying out a Main Service every 12 months although this may vary depending on usage.

This service includes S3 Intermediate Service, plus:

• Frame
  • Wipe down, clean and wax
  • Check suspension operation and visual inspection of forks, rear shock, frame bearings & bushes.
• Wheels
  • Thoroughly clean and inspect wheels & hubs.
  • True the wheels
• Brakes
  • Remove rim / disc brake pads and inspect
  • Clean brake calipers and inspect brake blocks.
  • Lubricate moving points and spring.
• Bottom bracket and headset
  • Inspect bearings – remove, inspect, clean, re-grease and refit
• Drivetrain inspection including:
  • Check drivetrain wear (Chain, gears and associated components)
  • Clean & lubrication of brake & gear cables (where possible)
• Pedals
  • Check pedal bearings
• Lubrication
  • Remove seatpost clean and use the recommended lubricant
• Saddle
  • Inspect saddle rail and bolts are secure

Any items identified will be clearly explained and I will advise whether any work is urgent. Any extras or parts are chargeable; the service charge includes labour to replace worn parts but does not include the cost of the parts themselves. I will inform you and obtain your approval prior to replacing any parts. Alternatively, I will advise of any items to keep an eye on for the future.
