The purpose of the Preventative Maintenance Service is to carry out a basic safety check of the bicycle, ensure that the machine is roadworthy and in full working order.
The Service includes:
- Brake and gear tune up
- Clean Brake Discs and Wheel Rims
- Safety checks of saddle, handlebars and pedals
- Headset and Bottom Bracket check and adjust
- Check wheel rims, wheel hubs and tyre pressures
- Clean and lubricate chain.
Any items identified will be clearly explained and I will advise whether any work is urgent. Any extras or parts are chargeable; the service charge includes labour to replace worn parts but does not include the cost of the parts themselves. I will inform you and obtain your approval prior to replacing any parts. Alternatively, I will advise of any items to keep an eye on for the future.
