Bike Assembly: £20

This is essentially the inspection, assembly and safety check of a new bike including a light basic service. This may be particularly useful for bikes which have been purchased online and require assembly ahead of use.

• Components such as handlebars and stem etc fitted.
• Gears and brakes tuned and adjusted as necessary.
• Wheels installed and tightened.
• Nuts and bolts checked
• Chain lightly oiled if needed
• Tyres inflated
• Road test
• Handover and demonstration to show how everything works (if needed)
  
  Note: £5 premium for bikes arriving in the box (includes recycling).

Commuting / Degrease Service: £20 plus parts

This service is a dedicated degrease and is usually added on to a S2, S3 or or S4 Service. It involves a partial strip down of a bike with the degreasing of parts.

The Drivechain and brakes are removed and thoroughly degreased in a stand-alone dedicated parts washer. This is the best method of cleaning off all of the road dirt and grime, and is excellent at freeing up seized or sticky parts.

The frame is then thoroughly washed and waxed.

When clean, the parts are lubricated as needed and refitted.

The bottom bracket is also removed and the frame threads are cleaned and greased.

Groupset Upgrades

This service involves the removal and cleaning of an old groupset, and the fitting of a new one. A great way to make it feel like new again! It includes:

• Bike stripped to a bare frame, frame and fork cleaned and checked.
• Installation of all new components and cables.
• Handlebars are taped if needed (cost of tape not included).
• Road Test.

Single Speed and Fixed Wheel Service: £35

This service is for single speed and fixed wheel bikes. It includes the following:

• Strip and degrease drivetrain.
• Remove bottom bracket, clean and degrease frame threads
• S3: Intermediate / Performance Service, excluding the setting up of gears
• Road test.
• Report.

Hub Service                Front: £10 / Rear: £15

The hub will be dismantled and cleaned along with the cone nuts and axle. Bearings will be cleaned or replaced. The hub will be reassembled with fresh grease.

Gear Service: £15

Gears will be tuned and indexed where applicable. Derailleur systems will have limit screws set, and the alignment of the rear mech hanger will be checked. Cables will be replaced as needed.

Gear Service with Drivetrain Degrease: £20

In addition to a gear service, the drivetrain will be removed and put through our parts washer to get it super clean. The gears will then be serviced as per a gear service. Allow a budget for an inner cable or two.

Brake Service: £10

Both brakes will be balanced and tightened. Braking surfaces on the rims will be cleaned and degreased, and brake pads will be checked and replaced if needed. Cabling will be lubricated as needed or replaced (cost of cables not included).

Hydraulic brake Service (Front and Rear): £20

This Brake Bleed Service should be carried out once a year or as needed. Includes:

• Clean caliper pistons & inspect disc pads & rotors
• Bleed system to manufacturers recommendations with fresh hydraulic fluid, centre brakes
• Renew pads if necessary (parts not included in price)
• Road test
